I think the story of three Americans being held in Iran for 1 1/2 years on charges of spying (the three said they were hiking, and didn't know they were in Iran - they thought they were still in Iraq), should make us all appreciate the rights we have here in the U.S. We have the right to a fair and speedy trial. Now, after being held for a year and a half, they are finally being put on trial. Because it' taken so long for Iran to even bring them to trial, I think it's hard to believe their trial will actually be fair. For their sake, I hope it will be a fair trial.Write about one of these issues:

I think the Green Bay Packers winning the super bowl was outstanding! This was a good thing because the quarterback, Rodgers led the team to their first NFL championship in 14 years! The score was 31-25. The Pittsburgh Steelers played well in the Super bowl falling short behind the packers. One of their quotes were “ Receiver goes down, more emotions are going,flying in the locker room. But we find a way to bottle it up and exert all of our talents out here on the field.

The new view will most likely help predict the weather in space. I think this is great because now we will be able to know more about the weather. They could probably use the paper 3-D glasses:0

I think that the 14-yearold pointing a laser at the pilot of the Boeing 737 was fairly arrested. It could be very dangerous for the everyone on the plane and possibly more. If the pilot were to be blinded while landing, he could easily have crashed and harmed not only the passengers, but anyone else working on the runway, or really anyone else nearby.

We think that they were not guilty. They should be on trial just to prove that their innocent. We think that it is unfair that they had to waste one year of their life for a crime that was not committed. It is horrible that people these days have to be so paranoid about people spying on them. We really hope that they get to spend the rest of their lives happy and living without the sadness of knowing that one whole year of their lives was wasted.

We think that it is VERY unfair that they were held in jail for one and a half years. We think that because they didn't know they were hiking through Iran. They should not be in jail for something they didn't know they did. We do not think they were there to spy on Iran. We think it was an honest mistake. It really makes you feel thankful that we live in America. We are always given a fair trial and if they have been there for that long we don't think they will be given a fair trial.

I think the laser pointing problem is silly and has to be fixed immediately! If it continues it will start causing problems, because it can distract the pilot, bother the pilot, blind the pilot, and cause the pilot to crash the plane causing hundreds of people to die.

I think that the trial for the American "spies" will be unfair. The "spies" said that they were hiking in Iraq, and didn't realize that they had crossed the border to Iran. The Americans were held in prison for 1 1/2 years, before they had their trial. We think that the Greenbay Packers deserved to win because they really fought all the way through and never gave up. The half time show was okay. It was pretty cool when Slash came out and did a duet with Fergie. The dancers were really elaboraate and did a great job. Lea Michelle belted out an amazing song in the beginning. Christina Aguleria did amazing but messed up a little bit. All in all, the superbowl was a sucess.

I think that the 14 year old boy was pretty stupid to be pointing lasers at pilots because there are many people in the plane and i don't think it would be right for passengers to die on an airplane just because of one little laser pointer. I don't think he knows how much jeopardy he put on the passengers' lives. He may think that it was pretty funny, but it really isn't. I think they should ban people from bringing lasers to the airport because one little pointer can cause a lot of trouble. The Packers reclaimed the Vince Lombardi trophy. The coach was admired for his win. Mike McCarthy won the first two super bowls. Rodgers is now equal to Superbowl wins just as Brett Favre is! Cheeseheads are going crazy! Greg Jennings with the most touchdowns helping Packers pull off the win! I think the Packers won because they are an amazing team who was determined to win and take the title of Superbowl champions. Even though Woodson and Driver were out the Packers never looked back. I think that the three-dimensional images of the sun are great progress for NASA. Scientists will be able to observe the sun's images from a view like no other through 3D paper glasses. I think that anyone, be it a '14-year old turd' or a 35 year old man, pointing a laser pointer at any plane that's flying is bad, and is rightfully punished by putting them in jail. The pilot in the Boeing 737 could have gotten dislocated and blinded, which would cause the plane to crash, killing innocent passengers. Because of that, the 14-year old could be a mass murderer by just pointing a speck of light on a flying airplane. Hopefully, this teenager learned his lesson and hopefully, it will serve as a lesson to anyone else too. Don't point lasers at flying planes!
