I think the recent revolution in Tunisia might be a good thing for the people of Tunisia. I think it was a good thing because the people got rid of a dictator who was supposed to promote democracy. Ben Ali, the leader they protested, only promoted corruption, unemployment, and poverty. Now that Ben Ali has left the country, hopefully the Tunisians will find a strong leader who will promote honesty and true democracy.

I think that the citizens of Tunisia did the right thing by revolting against their dictator. It was the right thing to do because they believed him to be an unworthy leader, since he only pretended to be fair and just. He did not deserve to rule, and was fortunately forced to leave Tunisia.

I think that the Brazil mudslides was a very unfortunate event that Mother Nature had to commit. Many houses, people, and trees have collapsed or disappeared because of these mudslides. The death toll could reach up to 1,000 if it's not helped immediately, so army helicopters have been trying to save survivors and help them find dead bodies in their homes. Many people are still in trouble around Brazil because of fresh mudslides. Some of them are isolated from help by smashed roads and bridges, while others are struggling to keep their property and items safe.

I think it was a good idea to remove the ambassador from the government. I think this because he was a very bad ambassador. When he was elected, he made many promises, but as time went on, he started ignoring the Tunisians and doing whatever he wanted to do.

I think that they should start a democracy instead of a dictator because most rulers did what was only best for them and their families. If they start a democracy,everybody's opinion is heard therefor, the citizens get to choose what they think is best for the country, other than one person doing what's best for him/her.

I believe that the Brazil flood is a horrible natural disaster that caused hundreds of people's loved ones to die. Therefore it is a reminder to the world that we need to take care of our world. I hope these missing people are found alive and healthy.

We think that it was cool how our president and chinas president, Hu Jintao got together. For our china assignment we did a puppet show about Hu Jintao and Obama, so it was interesting to actually have them get together in real life. It was neat to see two most powerful people in the same room!

We think that Chinese president Hu's visit was a very important step in the collaboration of two of the world's largest economic powers. Even though Hu promised to make importing and selling goods from the US in China easier, only time will tell if he will actually take action. In conclusion, we think that Hu's visit was definitely beneficial for the economies of the our two countries in many ways, and will hopefully help reclaim the stable relationship our two countries have had in the past.

We think the Brazil floods were a horrible disaster for the economy and many families who lost their loved ones in Brazil. These floods created landslides which caused at least 300 people to go missing and at least 345 to die! 207 people are still missing and the death toll could approach 1000! Many people are believed to be buried under the avalanches of mud. This disaster was very bad for the Brazil citizens.

I think that what happened in Tunisia was a good thing, because the dictator, which was supposed to have democracy, isn’t a good thing. It’s a bit better to have democracy than and no leader, than a leader that doesn’t have democracy. Now all they have to do is find a leader who supports democracy. You might think this is crazy; but they will somehow adjust, sometimes. It’s not like there never going to get structured. They are going to be structured once there is a leader. If anyone wants to be a leader who supports democracy, the citizens are going to take him. Therefore, I think what Tunisia’s citizens did was a good thing.

I think the people were pretty brilliant to overthrow their ruler. I think this because their leader was not leading very well. Food prices were not going down but going up instead. He didn't keep promises and he cared more about himself then his people. I think that it's so awesome that Subway has more chain stores than McDonalds now. The Subway food are healthier than McDonalds and I think thats a very good thing. I also love their sandwiches.
